Grateful for Our Community, Near and Far
Our rehearsal this past Sunday, September 27 was at Yanaka Community Center 🎶
And guess what? Taito City’s mascot, Taito-kun, stopped by too... perhaps for a visit? Or maybe for work? ✨
Since he was there, we couldn't resist taking a group photo together! 📸
TRS regularly rehearses at facilities throughout Taito City, and today's rehearsal was a wonderful reminder of how grateful we are to this community for supporting our activities.
Being able to sing together with friends from around the world in a city rich with history and culture is truly something special. Today was one of those moments that made us stop and appreciate just how lucky we are. ✨
And speaking of special memories, this summer we said goodbye to Chelsea, who sang with TRS for nearly two years before leaving Japan.
It's a little late, but we'd like to share the lovely message she sent to TRS before her departure. ✉️

Although it has come to an end, I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to sing with this group for the past two years.
From the rehearsals and performances to all of the get-togethers along the way, I’ve enjoyed every part of my time with TRS. I’m especially thankful to Brian and everyone in the group for making me feel so welcome and for all the memories.
Before coming to Japan, I never expected that I would join a choir again. Through TRS, I was able to rediscover my love for music, and I’m incredibly grateful for that.
I think it’s so wonderful that all of us, despite our different backgrounds and cultures, could come together and create something beautiful through our shared love of music. That’s what makes this group so special.
Thank you for the last two years, I wish you all nothing but the best 😊
