Report: Rikkyo University Glee Club 3rd Alumni Concert (2025)

Hello everyone,

Rikkyo University held its 63rd Homecoming Day on Sunday, October 19, 2025. As part of the festivities, the Rikkyo University Glee Club presented its 3rd Alumni Concert.

Because some current and former TRS members are alumni of Rikkyo, we were invited to perform at this year’s event. It was a pleasure to sing for the university community in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Although many of us do not have direct ties to the university, we truly felt welcomed as family and look forward to singing for and with everyone again.

On the day, TRS members met for an early morning warm-up in the Ueno area before traveling to the Rikkyo campus in Ikebukuro. After a brief on-site rehearsal, the group was ready and opened a series of performances by alumni groups. The second half of the event concluded with everyone at the venue joining together to sing a selection of female, male, and mixed-chorus repertoire.

It was wonderful to share this experience, and we hope this becomes a long-standing Rikkyo tradition that TRS can continue to take part in.
