Tokyo Repertory Singers Takes Silver at the Karuizawa International Choral Competition 2022!

On Sunday, August 21, 2022, Tokyo Repertory Singers (TRS) performed at the Karuizawa International Choral Festival's first ever International Choral Competition.

10 groups from all over the country competed in Karuizawa Town's Ohga Hall for a shot at the Grand Prix and each gave fantastic performances.

Despite this, TRS was able to win a silver prize at this year's competition!!!

Last year we participated in the Karuizawa International Choral Festival's "Harunire Concert" with 6 members. This year we were able to bring 16 to the the festival's competition. We hope to continue improving our skills as a group while increasing our numbers and return to Karuizawa for an even better performance!
